Abstract EN

Our topic investigates melody being a threatening phenomenon that spread in the Arabic language for reasons including the expansion of Arabs and their mixing with non-Arabs, and this coincided with the Islamic conquests.

in the first section of the work, we were concerned with the concept of melody, so the research was an occasion to monitor this phenomenon, which the Arabs considered a major event in the history of their tongue, to follow up on the forms of melody and the extent of its danger.

and since every phenomenon has results and every problem faces initiatives to be solved and to be overcome.

in the second part of the research we delved in the efforts of scholars of that period and the methods followed in defending the integrity of the language and preserving it from the threats of melody.
