Our study focuses on the issue of compulsory review of the constitutionality of laws with regard to the constitutional revision on 2020, which is divided into compliance control, which includes organic laws and internal regulations of the two chambers of parliament, and constitutional control, which includes legislative ordinances.

If the work of the Constitutional Council relates to the control of conformity, the addition of legislative ordinances to the field of mandatory control will strengthen the control of the Constitutional Court over it and its contribution to ensure the supremacy of the constitution, to purify the legal system of unconstitutional provisions and to establish legal certainty.
