The poetic text, as a lexical and semantic unit, is subject in its construction to textual foundations and technical requirements that are achieved in concerted levels to form that construction, Among those levels, which are the basis of textual construction in the perspective of textual linguistics, is the lexical level in which the student studies how the collective relations between two or more words operate within textual sequences, and it is a linguistic level based on two linguistic mechanisms: Repetition and Coherence, and we will work in this research to highlight the role of the lexical cohesion mechanism in achieving textuality, as well as its artistic function, in building the "Mahmoud Darwish" mural, by tracing the operation of this linguistic mechanism and the stylistic phenomenon within this poetic text.
