This study aims to shed light on the electronic defamation as the most important and famous electronic crimes at that time, as a consequence of what the internet has produced from the point of being a communication environment of privacy comparison to the traditional communication context.

The thing that has led to rise many problematics, including the unification of the concept and the control of legal standards which are going with the nature of their elements that define it them in cyberspace, through examining the Algerian cyber experience, we reached the technical, social and geopolitical dimensions that caractirize this crime
