Abstract EN

The term forms the basis of the translation process, because through it the translator conveys different ideas and contents, and the extent of the translator’s control over the translation and the extent of his control over it and its accuracy is related to the extent of his control over the terminology.

Accurate translation necessitates starting from clear terms that are consistent with the terms of the original language, because the terms differ from one language to another, and thus finding their equivalent in the target language becomes the most important task of the translator.

This study provides an overview of the problems posed by technical translation.

The publication of chloroquine has been used as a model to clarify the difficulties that may arise during the translation process, considering the medical language is one of the important components of technical translation.
