Socially responsible investing and environmental and social investing are some of the fastest growing areas of investment globally, both driven by a growing awareness of social and environmental responsibility.

in this context, the study aimed to shed light on the green Islamic Sukuk as a new face of Islamic finance and to highlight the extent of its contribution and promotion of social responsibility, which has become a necessary requirement and an international trend through our presentation of the Malaysian experience, in the field of adopting social responsibility and green Islamic Sukuk, as a model to follow in the field adopting national policies for the green economy through short and medium-term development plans, using the analytical method.

the study found the need for countries to rely on green Islamic instruments for their effectiveness in promoting social responsibility and identifying the mechanisms and policies necessary to overcome the challenges facing this type of investment.
