Abstract EN

This study aims to present the problem of the lack of coordination between fiscal and monetary policies in Algeria, and this by addressing the effects of the public budget deficit and the internal debt, on the performance of the monetary policy of the bank of Algeria, with regard to the issue of controlling the growth of cash flow at the rate that corresponds to the volume of national production, and the study focuses also on the failure of successive governments to provide non-inflationary sources to finance public expenditures.
