By the beginning of 1956, the leaders of the Algerian revolution realized the main role of the mass organizations in activating their revolutionary movement and removing it from the circle of the military elites who had placed themselves on the night of the light of November 1954, bearing the burden of leading the revolutionary vanguard in the term of the French-Algerian conflict by force.

The colonizer, so that it resorted to relying on the strength of the masses that are not jealous and engaging them in the armed struggle by mobilizing them within structures and organizations that formed an unbeatable source that contributed to pushing the Algerian cause to the negotiating table at the end of 1960 Accordingly, this study aims not only to monitor the roles of these organizations in support of the revolution, but to trace the mechanisms that made these organizations engage the masses of all kinds in the battle of armed struggle.

The National Council of the Algerian Revolution started its founding session in Soummam 1956.
