The author of this research paper aims at following the nature of folklore and its manifestations, including: the revolutionary song with a national political content that reflects the project of the liberation struggle and popular songs that reflected the heroism of the Algerian people and their sacrifices for the liberation of Algeria, examining the cultural and identity tributaries that nourish it, and highlighting the liberating dimension of this moral force that worked together with arms in opposing the French occupier and supporting the national liberation cause, and revealing the echo of this influential discourse in the hearts of the Algerian masses and soldiers of the liberationrevolution, and the value of this popular message in the history of the liberation struggle, and itsposition in preserving the Algerian identity, dignity, personality and sovereignty.
