The energy variable is considered an important determinant for drawing the features of the foreign policy of countries, whether exporting or importing from them, because it is one of the sensitive sectors within the state, where the state's energy capabilities affect its position and position in the international system.

The Russian Federation is one of the largest energy countries in the world in terms of reserves and production.

In this study, we discussed the Russian energy security and its role in shaping the strategies of the Russian Federation at the external level.
