Abstract EN

This article attempts to highlight the favor of Quranic readings in perpetuating linguistic phenomena and dialectal, phonemic, morphological, and grammatical characteristics that would not have been revived and preserved had they not been linked to the Holy Quran and its frequent and irregular readings.

Some of the phenomena are the phonetic and morphological substitution in hamzats and other letters, the permissibility of the past tense verb functioning as an adverb, the permissibility of differences in grammatical categories in terms of masculine and feminine, and many other matters that have been collected in the compilations of readings, and for which/by which the sources of language have argued.
