This research paper attempts to stand at the most important cultural components of the Algerian fairy tale as it takes the heart of the folklore.

Many critics and sociologists, as well as researchers in the field of anthropology and literature, such as "Abdel Hamid Bourayo" and "Houria Ben Salem", have directed to collect and study the texts of the tale according to many methods.

This research also sought to highlight the efficacy of subjecting the Algerian fairy tale to the study according to the mechanisms of the morphological method, with the aim of revealing the most important internal structures formed for it, by focusing on the functions of the characters and the motives for their actions within the text of the tale "Weld Al-Mahqura".
