Abstract EN

This study aims at standing on the reality of business incubators and their role in accompanying and upgrading the start-up under the actual economic circumstances that the Algerian country recognized.

This study focuses on business incubator of Annaba state as a model by depending on the descriptiveanalytical approach for interpreting and analyzing the collected data.

This study concluded that the incubated startups in the state of Annaba still exist in a small and limited number according to the nature of the Algerian economy that depends hugely on the big public projects; a fact that didn't allow the business incubator of Annaba to emerge and conduct its role in the local development in the desired form.

In addition, to other factors that limit its efficacy and effectiveness.
