Abstract EN

The present study aims to reveal the relationship between emotional intelligence and psychological stress in university professors performing administrative tasks, by studying the average level of emotional intelligence and average psychological stress, and the difference between them according to the sex variable, using the descriptive approach, and applying the emotional intelligence scale of Schott et al (1998), and the questionnaire on psychological stress of Mohammed Boufatah (2013), on a sample of (40) individuals.

There was no statistically significant relationship between the emotional intelligence and psychological stress, the average level of both was high, and there were no statistically significant differences according to gender variable.
