Abstract EN

This study aims to reveal the extent of school violence related to “school, family, and self” self-esteem.

It also aims to reveal the extent of school violence related to violence in the family, the media and the school environment.

The study used the descriptive and analytical method using the school violence questionnaire prepared by the researcher in addition to the self-esteem scale prepared by Dr.

Muhammad Al-Amin Mustafa as the two tools of the study directed to the students.

They are classified in the category of pupils who practice school violence as a civilian unit among (40) male and female students, and in the unit of Hantoub (110) male and female students, The sample of the study consisted of (150) pupils and his pupils from the second and third cycle pupils in the basic phase, who were deliberately chosen and who were classified in the category of pupils who practice school violence in a civilian unit in the middle of (40) pupils and his pupil and Hantoub unit (110) pupils and after analyzing the results.

The study indicates that there is a correlation between school violence and the media, with a mean (2.42) and a standard deviation (0.210), There is a correlation between negative school self-esteem and school violence with an average of (2.13) and a standard deviation (0.682).

The researcher recommends focusing on the role of the family for the student to reduce violence through more instructions to families that violence affects the behavior of the student and transfers it to the school.

They watch the media and communication and educate them to choose what can be seen to promote the behavior and to avoid what affects the behavior negatively.

The researcher suggests conducting studies on pupils who practice school violence in the family and school administration factors, to find out more factors leading to school violence.
