Abstract EN

Since most of the crises and challenges that Iraqi society is going through are complex and thorny that are difficult to control by traditional methods, the Iraqi social policies must strive towards keeping pace with innovative programs and policies that take upon themselves to improve the quality of life by offering new solutions and mechanisms based on the standards of modernity and improvement to be more useful in the form of a product, project, program or platform, and to achieve this, the research was divided into two theoretical and field sides, and the research adopted the social research method in the sampling method by building a scale consisting of (19) paragraphs and with four-way answer alternatives (totally agree, agree, no).

agree, never agree as it was applied to a sample of (100) respondents from academics specializing in sociology.

the research reached several conclusions, the most important of which are : 1-reducing the gap between social and economic policies can result in new opportunities for social innovation.

2-most of the Iraqi social policies did not provide innovative mechanisms that support the work of social safety nets, programs for youth, women, children, the elderly and vulnerable groups in order to improve their existing conditions.
