The current research aims to study the Arabic language curriculum for fourth preparatory students between reality and future visions from the point of view of male and female teachers.

To achieve this aim, the two researchers have chosen (16) male and female teachers who teach the Arabic language for the fourth preparatory grade as an exploratory sample in order to know the time needed to answer the questionnaire.

The questionnaire is consisted of four fields: aims, content, methods of teaching, and assessment.

After it has been handed to the arbitrators (experts and specialists) to verify its validity, some items have been modified and others have been deleted.

The two researchers have presented the questionnaire in its final form for the basic research sample of (108) male and female teachers from different schools in the centre of Babel Governorate; those who teach the Arabic language for the fourth preparatory grade.

Using Alpha Cronbach's correlation, the weighted mean, and the percentage weight, the two researchers have reached the results of the research according to its fields.

In light of the results of the research, the two researchers recommend that Arabic language teachers should deal with aspects of the Arabic language in a single lesson according to the complementary method, and the necessity of teaching complementarity according to a complementary text that includes aspects of the Arabic language, and the two researchers suggest conducting a balance study between the complementary method and other modern strategies.
