What is known as the Islamic State in Iraq and the Levant (ISIS), is the name of a new takfiri Salafi group it appeared with this name after 2010.
With the expansion of the occupied territories in Iraq and Syria in June 2014, it was renamed the Islamic State, which claimed the caliphate around the world.
IS has always sought to prove its identity under the banner of Islam in the name of the Islamic State.
The main motive for writing these lines was a conflict in the identity and ideological foundations of IS because of its actions in Iraq and Syria.
