Because of the growing attention to children lack maturity and physical and mental development, which made States attach particular attention at the domestic and international levels, and therefore recommended by the Convention on the Rights of the Child of 1989 in article 38 of the need to ban the recruitment of children or recruited in hostilities, the same decision of the Rome Statute and the statute of the Special Court for Sierra Leone, which was considered the recruitment of children under the age of 15 or using them in hostilities as a war crime punishable.

The importance of these barging through the international scene of the use of children in wars, in fact that child soldiers are victims of lead their participation in wars to the serious effects on them in terms of physical, psychological and social.
