يتناول هذا البحث القارية في المملكة العربية السعودية، والقارية تنطلق في مفهومها من تأثير نوعية سطح الأرض سواء اليابس أو الماء على طبيعة المناخ، وكان هذا التأثير سببا في تقسيم المناخ إلى نوعين هما المناخ القاري والمناخ البحري وتقدير درجات القارية في المملكة تم باستخدام خمسة مؤشرات من مؤشرات القارية وهي: مؤشر جورزنسكي Gorczyniski ومؤشر جونسون Johansson ومؤشر كونراد Conrad ومؤشر رونيو Raunio ومؤشر سوبان.Supan

The research investigates the continentality situation in Saudi Arabia.
contenintality means the impact of the earth service whether it is land or sea, on climate.
climate is classified into continental climate and maritime climate.
five indices of continentality were applied to estimate continentality degrees in the kingdom, which are Gorczyniski's index, Johansson's index, Conrad's index, Raunio's index, and Supan's index.
