Abstract EN

The study aims to investigate the level of psychological security among Palestinian university students participating in the Tamayyaz program, in light of some variables such as gender, college, and academic appreciation, in addition to the relationship between psychological security and life skills.

Using the relational descriptive approach, the two tools of the study are applied to a stratified sample according to the gender of the student, as it includes 151 male and female students, representing 11% of the original community, where 22.5% are males and the rest are females.

The results showed that the level of both psychological security and life skills for students is high, and indicates no significant differences in the psychosocial averages of students attributed to gender, college, academic rating, place of residence, as well as the absence of significant differences in the life skills averages attributed to gender and academic appreciation.

In contrast, the differences are in the dimension of self-management skills according to the faculty variable in favor of medical and nursing specialization and the variable of residence in favor of city and camp.

The results showed a direct correlation between psychological security and life skills of students; i.e, the higher the degree of psychological security, the higher the level of life skills.
