English Abstract

This study aimed to identify the effect of using visual feedback on learning some basic basketball skills, and the impact of using different types of feedback (visual and traditional) on learning some basic basketball skills.

The researcher used the experimental method and the sample of the study consisted of (38) students; of the Faculty of Sports Sciences who are enrolled in basketball course (1) during summer semester 2018/2019.

The sample was randomly selected and distributed into two groups by draw; the experimental group consisted of (19) male and female students and implemented visual feedback, the control group consisted of (19) male and female students and implemented traditional feedback.

The results showed that there were significant differences at the level of (0.05≥α) between the pre and post measurement for the experimental group and in favor of the post measurement, there were significant differences at the level of (0.05≥α) between the pre and post measurement for the control group and in favor of the post measurement, and there are statistically significant differences between the experimental group and the control group for the benefit of the experimental group.

The researcher recommended a necessity of using visual feedback especially with novice learners.
