This research includes a study of the presumption of use and its impact on meaning according to Qutb al-Din al-Rawandi (d.

573 AH).

As this presumption represented for him one of the pieces of evidence on which he relied in analyzing texts, revealing their meanings, and deducing legal rulings from them.

He sees that the semantics of the words are based on the nature of their use in the language of communication and deliberation, whether it is between the public or the private.
