it is clear to us that the scholars of the Hawza, with their popular influence and special prestige among the public and the private, were keen to use this to unite the Islamic rank and prevent strife and fighting among Muslims, which was always behind the political ambitions of the rulers who controlled Muslim countries, regardless of the claims of sectarian affiliation of the rulers.
