Abstract EN

This article studies the subject of terminology and the system of kinship in Kabyle society from the point of view of anthropological studies.

In it, I studied the theoretical concepts of kinship terms and systems in the traditional Kabyle society.

The relationship of kinship terms to cultural and social organization was investigated.

It was concluded that the terms of kinship in Kabyle society are diverse and numerous, and are closely related to the natural biological reality and the system of intermarriage and marriage.

Kinship is mono-patriarchal in terms of marriage, lineage, residence, property, inheritance, and affiliation to race, tribe, and place.
