The science of rhetoric after Abd al-Qaher al-Jurjani and until the end of the eighth century AH was surrounded by a lot of complexity and ambiguity, and this is what motivated many scholars in the history of the Islamic nation to author in this field in order to clarify this science and facilitate its issues, so their efforts were sublime and solemn.

He contributed a significant effort in presenting the investigation of rhetoric as an indispensable cornerstone for those who confront the interpretation of the Noble Qur'an, and from it this research comes to clarify these topics through his book “The Elixir in the Science of Tafsir”, describing them, analyzing them and standing on their impact in the field of rhetorical research.

This is done by answering the following questions: -Who is Suleiman al-Tufi al-Baghdadi? What is the purpose of writing his book “The Elixir”? - How was he presented to the rhetoric studies in his book? .
