The current research aims to measure the role of environmental awareness (awareness of the exercise of sustainability, behavioral awareness, attitude and emotional awareness) in the sustainable development of fairness, empowerment, good governance and accountability.

in order to achieve the objectives of the research, the research relied on the method of identification in the collection of data.

the questionnaire was prepared based on a number of previous studies and was subjected to arbitration of a number of specialized professors.

it included 27 questions related to the research variables and distributed to the same sample of the employees of the municipality of Karbala.
