Abstract EN

One of the most important issues that Arab scholars spent much time thinking of is the Qur'anic readings ; not only during the period of the Islamic era, but also after it.

for example, when committing grammatical mistake had been widespread, callings of keeping the Qur'an away from it began to rise.

then, during the era of the rightly guided caliphs and during their aftermath, scholars were concerned of collecting the Qur'ans to avoid any grammatical mistake.

in his introduction, Ibn Mujahid (deceased : 324 a.

h.

) says that the memorizers of the holy Qur'an were of several types.

they were different in the way they memorized the Qur'an ; some of them were scholars in readings, memorizers with no attention to parsing, and some of them were dependent on others in all of that.

more importantly, memorizers are exposed to oblivion in the passage of time.

seemingly, these differences made Ibn Mujahid and others write in this domain.

the study adopts 'the seven in the readings book' for two reasons : first for its fame, and second for its collection of the seven readers who were well known in all of the Arab countries.

this paper has been divided into points.

each of those points involves the target word in the grammatical Qur'anic reading which is considered a violation reading in accords with Hafs from Asim.

the study is descriptively and analytically carried out depending on scholars' opinion of grammar and readings in addition to exegetes' opinions.
