The present study is concerned with studying a type of emphaticness of the attached pronoun by the separate pronoun as found in the Quranic text : a case study of the seven long Suras.

accordingly, the paper is to probe into the expressive secrets which are involved in the use of the unique formula of emphaticness.

this investigation is based on the interpretive implications of the glorious Quran.

besides, rhetorical and grammatical implications are also involved in studying this type of emphaticness.

finally, semantic relations resulting from such use of pronoun-based emphaticness are highlighted.
