Praise be to Allah, and prayers and peace be upon the messenger of Allah, his family, companions and those who are loyal to him until the day of judgment, it is known to the people of knowledge that Abu Jaafar al-Nahhas is an imam of language, grammar, and the sciences of the Qur'an, especially the science of abrogating and abrogating, which he was known for.

from his book- the Naskh and the abrogated- and collected and studied it critically, and it came out with good results, the most prominent of which are: that imam al-Nahas was an encyclopedic imam in the arts of science, including the ills of hadith and criticism of men, and his approach was not a hard-line approach in criticizing narrators, and at the same time he was not one of the lenient among them, so he took the middle approach in the wound and the modification, and his saying about the men in this small research is completely identical with the sayings of the twelve imams of the wound and the modification, except in one narrator who did not do him justice, and perhaps he relied in his criticism of men on his elders considered in his era from the imams of the wound, and modification, the ills, and the knowledge of men, such as imam an-Nasa, may god have mercy on her, and Allah almighty only knows best.
