Abstract EN

The study aims to shed light on one of the economic policies that have become necessary and conceivable in light of global economic developments (the policy of economic diversification) by identifying it and defining its characteristics, types, and indicators of its measurement on the one hand, and on the other side (applied) analysis and measurement of economic diversification in Algeria During the period 1996-2019.

The study found weakness and fragility in the application of the economic diversification policy in developing countries, as it proceeds according to a vicious circle.

The study also found a measurement of economic diversification in Algeria according to the HHH index, whose results gave an almost total ence of implementing the economic diversification policy, as its values were high and close to one.
