This research paper aims to detect the impact of sorban Technique (mental arithmetic skill) on improving the motivation to learn mathematics in primary school students in Mostaganem state for the 2018-2019 school year.

The study tools were the mental calculation skill questionnaire prepared by the researcher, the motivational measure of learning for Suleiman, the children's photography test for Ahmed Zaki, and the sample of the study consisted of (30) fourth-year primary school students Divided into two groups, one consisting of (15) students trained in sorban technology, and the other also consisting of (15) students who did not train in technology, the study reached the following results: -There is a statistically significant effect of sorban technique (mental arithmetic skill) on improving the motivation to learn mathematics in primary school students.

- There is a statistically different in motivation to learn mathematics between the group of students trained in sorban technique (mental arithmetic skill), pupils who have not been trained in sorban technique, and for the benefit of the group trained in technique.
