To study contemporary Western thought is not an easy matter, especially Jurgen Habermas, and the openness of modernity and postmodernism debate.

In fact to speak about Habermas is like speaking about an intellectual orientation in contemporary philosophy, especially since many researchers see Habermas as the philosopher of the age and being a multidisciplinary thinker by mentioning figures and philosophical terminology that refer to all intellectual trends either, from the German philosophical heritage or others, for the purpose of defending the incomplete project of modernity after a philosophical change is the theory of communicative act.
