The study dealt with the material and performance methods used in the art of wall photography (the mosaic technique and the raw materials that fall under it.

it aimed to introduce the materials of mural photography and the mosaic technique and the method of their use on architectural surfaces, and to reveal the materials used in wall photography, past and present.

the paper discussed the subject of mural, its origin and development through the ages, and the role played by the materials of the modern mural mosaic technique, and its role in developing the mural painting, such as the study society in the field of materials and performance methods in the art of wall panting represented in a number of wall works executed with mosaic materials, and works that were mixed with more than one material, the study followed the descriptive, analytical and experimental approach to the steps of implementing mosaic murals and their functions.

the study tools consisted of observation and practical application, then analyzing the theoretically extracted samples and the practical and applied experiments carried out by the researcher in order to reach the results of the study.

the most important findings of the study is that colored stones and ceramics are raw materials available in many regions of Sudan in various forms are environmentally friendly and can be used by mosaic murals that have the property of survival and durability.

and that the mosaic is one of the raw materials that is characterized by the nature of the composition, which makes it adaptive to environmental and climate factors, has high durability and can be used in many wall surfaces of different structural and architectural composition.
