according to the decisions of the ministry of education Sudan.

the importance of the study come with the initiative to establish work that would contribute in simple way to overcoming the problems of hearing and cognitive skills of the students of al-Amel school for deaf and hard of hearing-Sudan.

the study problem was indentified with am jay question: now does musical education for the deaf and hard of hearing contribute to developing auditory and cognitive skills.

the study followed the descriptive approach to present model from the students of al-Amal for the deaf and hard of hearing to reveal the effectiveness of musical education for the deaf and hard of hearing in developing auditory and cognitive skills.

the study consists of the three chapters in its content and its literature is reviewed as follows : chapter one : deals with the introduction and previous studies.

chapter tow : it contains three topes : the historical back ground of the upbringing.

the deaf and hard of hearing school in Sudan.

the musical education and its role in improving and enhancing auditory and cognitive skills, and the proposed curriculum for students of the al-Amal school for the deaf and hard of hearing in Khartoum (3).Sudan.

the third chapter : it contains the applied from work and the outputs of the study and includes and discussion of results, recommendations and the research library.

the study heists the most important results of the study, wish are: nature and the community environment in Sudan is a source of musical culture.
