Abstract EN

The study aimed to identify the services provided by local voluntary organizations in improving education services in the southern countryside in Shendi locality, river Nile state, from 2017-2019.

a descriptive analytical approach was used, the study used a questionnaire as a tool to collect information and was analyzed using the statistical package for social sciences (SPSS) program, and iterative tables and chi-square test were used.

the study found a number of results, the most important of which is that the programs and activities provided by local voluntary organizations lead to an increase and improvement in the educational level.

the study proved that there are economic, political and administrative obstacles that hinder the work of local voluntary organizations in the field of education.

the study came out with several recommendations, including the necessity for the ministry of education to rehabilitate, prepare and establish more educational institutions, including cells, kindergartens, schools, and literacy classes, to reduce educational losses.
