The books of “The Hadiths Questions” contain thousands of translations, and they represent the first building block in building the edifice of the art of Al-Jarh and Al-Ta’deel, and one of the necessary bases upon which the science of men is built.

These modern questions do not reach their goal except after studying, scrutinizing and collecting, especially if these questions in Jarh and Tadeel are posed to a distinguished scholar such as Ali bin Al-Madini, and these questions may be from the son to his father, so the topic was marked with ((Questions of Abdullah Ben Al-Madeeni to his Father in “ Al-Jarh wat Ta’deel” contained in the book “ Ta’reekh Baghdad” by Al-khateeb Al-Baghdadi: A comparative study with sayings of the Imams of Discrediting and Endorsement of Narrators().

The importance of the research lies in the following matters: Imam Ali bin Al-Madini is considered one of the skillful critics, the creators preserve in the Al-Jarh and Al-Ta’deel, and the questions were for a distinguished scholar who is considered one of the main pillars of the defense of the “Prophetic Sunnah.” The problem of the research lies: in collecting and clarifying Abdullah’s questions to his father Ibn Al-Madini in Al-Jarh and Al-Ta’deel and Knowledge of Men.

Abdullah Ibn Al-Madini’s questions to his father in Al-Jarh and AL-Ta’deel ((twenty-six)) reached a place in all hadith books, and most of his sayings are in the book The History of Baghdad by Al-Khatib Al-Baghdadi.
