English Abstract

This study aimed at identifying the degree of the behaviour of transformational leadership behaviour among high school principals in the State of Kuwait from the point of view of teachers and its relation to the level of happiness among teachers.

The study followed the descriptive survey approach.

To achieve the objectives of the study, a questionnaire was designed in light of the study variables.

The questionnaire consisted of three parts.

The first part included the demographic data, the second part included the areas of the transformation leadership, and the third part included the measurement of areas related to the teachers' happiness level.

The study sample consisted of ( 470 ) principals and teachers working in secondary schools in the State of Kuwait.

The study found that high school principals in Kuwait practice moderate driving behavior.

And that the level of happiness of teachers in secondary schools in Kuwait from their point of view was average, a statistically significant correlation was found between the level of behavior of the transformational leadership behavior among high school principals in Kuwait and the level of happiness among the teachers.

There are statistically significant differences in the assessment of the members of the study sample to the extent of the behavior of transformational leadership among high school principals in Kuwait due to the gender variable, the females, and the years of experience, 10 years and over ).

Based on the study results, the study recommended the need to hold training courses to enhance the skill of transformational leadership and encourage them to practice, especially with regard to the empowerment of teachers, in addition to studying the various factors affecting the level of happiness of teachers and work to improve the level of happiness because of the implications for the performance of teachers and their performance and duties entrusted to them
