This study includes the content of the food industries as a branch of the manufacturing industries and their role in achieving food security and development in Algeria , By developing the agricultural sector and transforming plant or animal products through accreditation into commodities suitable for consumption in seasons other than those in which they were produced, and thus paying attention to the agricultural sector to provide the raw material to avoid importing from abroad, The establishment and development of food industries contributes to achieving food security and development, in addition to obtaining foreign currency through export.
