Abstract EN

The post-cold war period witnessed profound changes in the form and structure of wars and armed conflicts, and the emergence of the so-called “new wars”, “fourth and fifth generation wars”, and, in addition to the transformation of the international system, the phenomenon of globalization accompanied by the technological revolution could be one of the reasons for these changes.

The lines overlapped and blurred between war and peace, combatants and civilians, while the role of non state actors has grown.

Thus, terrorism has been internationalized, according to the strategies and tactics of its asymmetric war, which created an interactive relationship between the terrorist phenomenon and new wars, so that the first affects the second, and vice versa.

This relationship is what the article attempts to study.
