This article delves into the major perceptions of security building in the African Sahel region and the modalities of its performance in the near abroad of Algeria, that it holds from political and security backgrounds, regional and international dimensions that resulted in a set of cooperative operational frameworks one such case is the gathering of countries of the field and parallel ones characterizing of security competition nature - Like the Five gathering of Sahel which has contributed to continued undermining security building in this region.
