Abstract EN

This study aimed to reveal the extent of the effectiveness of awareness campaigns organized by members of the listening and prevention cells in the youth and sports sector in Algeria in preventing young people from AIDS.

To achieve this goal, the descriptive approach was relied on.

To reach the results of the study, with the application of the questionnaire tool that was distributed to a sample of members of these cells across the country, where their number was estimated at 78 individuals, and the study resulted in the following: Health awareness about AIDS in Algeria did not have an effective role in preventing the disease, but it was dominated by the formality and empty of content.
