The study aims at presenting the different styles of the rbit and its effectiveness in the face of sociocultural changes that society witnesses between what is inherited and what is modern with sexual practices.

the study deals with the modern Algerian family's dependence on practicing rbit to protect the girl, as most of society's families founded on the patriarchal male view of honor, thus keeping the girl with her physical and moral dignity, and keeping herself a student, and her family's honor and pride away from being a child.

we found that honor still relates to women, and some societies still have a culture of protecting this honor by protecting the girl's virginity for fear of breaking the membrane of piercing and procreation outside the institution of marriage, the mother uses rbit to her daughter as a belief that it works to incapacitate the reproductive system.
