Religious life in Guelaat Bouatfane archeological site, located in the south of Guelma province, is one of the topics that still carry some sort of mystery to this day.

the site is a city that dates back to the ancient period, its area exceeds twenty hectares, given its vastness, but its old name and its administrative classification are still unknown, and this is mostly due to the lack of archeological excavations, because so much of the site is still left over from the soil in view of the uncertainty that the city knows in this way, we decided to delve into the subject by which we will attempt to highlight an aspect of religious life, depending on what we have of the archeological material, whether it is modern which we obtained thanks to field work represented in many archeological surveys that its result was a demonstration that the idol Saturn was present in the city, in addition to all that has been touched by many bibliographies of the past two centuries, where we will depend on the funerary remains of monuments which referred to the religion of the deceased in their entirety which we obtained thanks to field work represented in many archeological surveys that its result was a demonstration that the idol Saturn was present in the region, in addition to all that has been touched by many bibliographies of the past two centuries, where we will depend on the funerary remains of monuments which referred to the religion of the deceased in their entirety
