The article deals with two important aspects in the history of the orientalist movement; the first aspect is the most important scientific contributions of the pioneers of the German orientalist school in the course of Arab Islamic civilization, and this is in terms of fairness to Islam and Muslim scholars specialized in experimental and human sciences, as well as various efforts of German orientalists in the investigation, publication and indexing of eyes books on the Arab-Islamic heritage.

as for the other side, it is embodied in the most important critical inquiries and comments on German orientalist literature, which contained a set of opinions that contradict the historical truth.
