Abstract EN

This article explains the most important obstacles that faced the beginnings of the French colonization project, and how these obstacles posed a real threat to the French presence in Algeria as a whole.

initially, the problems of the colonization project appeared to be legal, linked to the aspect of colonization, and then to the colonists, their nature and the tasks assigned to them, but the greatest obstacles facing the colonization project were the problem.

security related to the insurgency, and the problem of acclimatization on which we mainly based in this research document, showing the various efforts and the solutions proposed to overcome them, including the administrative efforts which depend on the creation of the environment and the settlement of settlers as needed, and behavioral measures based on hygiene and social procedures, the basis of which was the mixture of races to obtain a new genus facilitating adaptation, and finally solutions health that have looked at various diseases and how to treat them.
