Abstract EN

Despite the large number of scientific publications dealing with the transmis-sion of psychological traumas' issue and the complexity of its pathologic manifesta-tions on the individual familial plan, this transgenerational problematic always pre-serves its actuality.

These researches start from this postulate: the temporary Algeri-an family members' suffering gets its meaning from the trauma experienced by the previous generations.

The main hypothesis is formulated as follows: the psychologi-cal traumas experienced by the Algerian war of independence generations have been transmitted to the actual family members through individual mechanisms and relational processes.

We have adopted a theoretical background, the contextual ap-proach of systematic current.

In our work, we focus the clinical methods through a case study of families that have, at least, one of these members of the previous gen-erations involved in the war.

Analysis of the data collected through systemic inter-views, family genogram and the evaluation guide of the transgenerational transmis-sion of the trauma, we conceived, have confirmed our research hypothesis.
