Abstract EN

As regards preventing and fighting corruption and right after ratifying international conventions related to this matter, the Algerian legislator had created an independent institution called "the Supreme Authority for Transparency, Prevention, and fight against Corruption" that has several functions through which it is sought to eliminate or limit corruption crimes and to ensure its independence it was stipulated in the supreme law in the country, which is the constitution.

This authority monitors all institutions and notifies the judiciary whenever it unveils facts of a criminal nature, in addition to other functions that we will discuss in this article.
