لقد قيض الله رجالا أفنوا أعمارهم في خدمة سنة رسول الله ، فتركوا لنا إرثا عظيما في هذا المجال، فكانوا بحق أصحاب صنعة، و فرسان ميدان، و إن فكرة هذا البحث تكمن في بيان منهجهم في التعامل مع نصوص السنة بعد التحقق من ثبوتها أو عدمه و أهميته في فهم السنة النبوية، كما بين هذا البحث أن الغفلة عن منهجهم في التعامل مع النصوص يؤدي إلى فهم خاطئ لها و تطبيق مخالف لمراد النبي صلى الله عليه و سلم.
وقد تناولت الموضوع من خلال خطة قسمت إلى تمهيد و مبحثين و خاتمة، فأما أذكر فيها أهداف البحث، و أهميته، و إشكاليته، و المنهجية المتبعة، وأما التمهيد فخصصته للحديث عن محاور عناية المحدثين بالسنة النبوية مما له علاقة بموضوع البحث.
وأما المبحث الأول فقد خصصته للكلام عن المراد من التحقق من ثبوت الحديث و لمحة تاريخية عن هذه العملية و بيان أهمية ذلك، وأما المبحث الثاني فخصصته للحديث عن الجانب التطبيقي لمسألة التحقق من ثبوت الحديث، ثم ختمت البحث بذكر نتائجه و جملة من التوصيات

SummaryGod has decreed men who spent their lives serving the Sunnah of the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, and they left us a great legacy in this field.
Understanding the Prophet's Sunnah, and this research also showed that neglecting their approach to dealing with texts leads to a wrong understanding of it and an application that is contrary to the intent of the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace.
I dealt with the subject through a plan that was divided into an introduction, a preface, two chapters and a conclusion.
As for the first topic, it was devoted to talking about the purpose of verifying the authenticity of the hadith and a historical overview of this process and a statement of the importance of it.
