Abstract EN

This article looks at the impact of robbersand muggers on the security realities of The Central Maghreb society, which have been profoundly disrupted by their activities in both distinct and successive historical periods; owing to the political situation in The Central Maghreb area (The rotation of political power, Theactivity of BanuHilal's tribe, The movement of Zanata groups…) A situation in which the Sufis played a role in establishing security discourse through theiractivities whether inside theZawiya institution or through the supernatural power, namely, to: Karamat of Sufis.

This latter formed a punitive authority that it producedby the collective imagination of the Central Maghreb society in order to overcome the loopholes of political, doctrinal and even customary power.

Besides, the functional given which is provided by the Zawiyaintroducing a new concept and practice for repentance that is established by the basis of integration into urban society and adopting a different pattern of production depends on stability and abandonment of robbery and mugging.
